Kawan HANDEP; Fashionably Sustainable
We’re happy to announce (and introduce) Kawan HANDEP (or Friends of HANDEP). A new initiative we created in 2023 to offer visitors of our flagship store in Ubud, Bali better options to fast fashion goods.
Kawan HANDEP is aimed to showcase brands who have sustainability and ethical practices as part of their brand DNA. Ranging from responsibly sourced material to community impact programs, we’ve curated a collective of local Indonesian brands who are leading the way to create lasting change.
Goldare Swimwear

KAMU Wear

Linen never felt so good. KAMU Wear aims to provide conscious consumers with clothes that are cool on the skin, and the conscience.
Partnering with organizations to empower those with disabilities to create their versatile pieces, each KAMU Wear piece also comes with a tree-planting initiative for every piece sold.
We’re proud to introduce our little own Sustainable Brands Class of 2023, with the hopes to partner and showcase more brands in the coming years. We firmly believe that sustainable and ethical is the way forward, and Kawan HANDEP is here to show consumers that more and more brands are committed to create lasting change.
